  Hummer
Hummer is a brand of SUV by General Motors (GM), a military High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV), or Humvee. The SUVs were originally built by American Motors General Corporation. They sold civilian versions in 1992 under the name Hummer and sold the brand to General Motors in 1998 while still manufacturing the vehicles. Hundreds of owners belong to an organization called Hummer Owners Prepared for Emergencies (HOPE) since all Hummer vehicles have heavy-duty capabilities to assist during disasters. GM has licensed the use of the Hummer trademarks for use on colognes, flashlights, bicycles, clothing and jewelry, among others.
